"Safe" on Netflix
Main Post:
Since I finished Dexter I've been watching Safe which stars Michael C. Hall. 3 episodes in. Pretty good so far. Nice to see him in a heroic roll. Has anyone else seen it?
Top Comment: Is that the one with his British accent!? I couldn’t do it I really tried to watch it

We just purchased a home built in 1909 from a trust. Of course no one knows the combination, from what I can find out, choices are limited to get it open. I’d rather figure out the combination and use the safe rather than drill it out, thoughts?
Is Spend account safe? Information is limited
Main Post:
I moved my cash from wealthfront to my bank at the onset of the pandemic as the world was going to fall apart. After 4 months it seems that we might not all die. Hence I tried to move money from my bank to another high yield savings. Looks like Wealthfront is 0.35% APY but M1 is offering 1 %.
What bank does M1 use? What if that bank Goes Belly up? Any information will be helpful.

They use Lincoln Savings Bank to hold the Spend funds. It is FDIC insured so as safe as any other bank.
Is a 2014 Hyundai Elantra Limited a "safe" choice for a reliable car?
Main Post:
I am looking to purchase a used sedan vehicle under $13000 in the near future.
Ideally, I would like the car to last somewhere for 6 to 10 years without needing major and/or frequent repairs since I will be going back to school in 2 to 3 years and will be making next to no income during that time.
Besides general reliability, I am looking at newer models with mileage under 75000 miles. I liked the Elantra in particular because it seemed to handle and respond well when I took it for a test drive. Furthermore, the interior had a "modern" and "sporty" feel that I really liked.
I live in North Texas and will be using the car really only to drive to and from work and to and from school when that time comes. I estimate that I will be driving no more than 50 miles a week.
Right now, I am driving my dad's four-cylinder 2009 Pontiac G6, and my biggest gripes with the car are that it is slow to accelerate when getting on the interstate and that I am constantly having to adjust how hard I am pressing on the gas pedal to maintain a constant speed.
Please let me know if I can provide any more details, and thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Yes it's good. Hyundai has the strongest warranty - if they made unreliable cars they would go out of business for warranty repairs. Unfortunately their warranty is not transferable when buying used. Because of this and the fact that Hyundai's reputation has not caught up with their current output, the resale on new Hyundai's is poor. They lack the reputation of Toyota's so the same price will get you a newer and better optioned Hyundai. They are a great value but if you have to have the warranty, look elsewhere.
E-class coupe 2014 issues - PRE-SAFE Functions Limited
Main Post:
Hi Guys - I've got an issue with my beautiful Merc. It's an E-Class Coupe 2014.
I'm getting the PRE-SAFE Functions Limited error. It comes and goes, leading me to think it's a dodgy sensor, or a dodgy wire. Not sure where to start on getting it resolved, I've cleaned off and dried all the sensors, but the issue does appear to be staying for good either way. It's on and off, and I can sometimes go for an hour or two with no issue, but then the issue will pop back on turning off ABS, traction control and other functions. The car's manual is just telling me that I should speak to a specialist, but since it's on and off, I'd like to try to resolve it myself.
Any ideas on where to start on diagnosing, or resolving the issue?

With out knowing the code that’s throwing the light it’s gonna be hard to point you in the right direction. Generally all the mentioned lights are a package deal and any one could set the other
